Mr Nick Larkins

Nick is Head of Collections & Recoveries Strategy and Credit Risk Oversight at HSBC. He has over 25 years’ experience in Financial Services, having previously worked for Prudential, Egg, and Lloyds Banking Group. 

Nick has held Senior positions in Programme Management, 2nd line Oversight, Application Fraud Strategy and Debt Management. Within HSBC he led the development of HSBCs ‘Customers in Financial Difficulty Policy’, development of the Credit Risk oversight structure and optimising the use of data in the identification of risk. He is a firm believer that performance is delivered through a foundation in great customer outcomes.

Nick is passionate about the use of insight to define strategy, optimise customer journeys and ensure compliance throughout the credit lifecycle. Prior to joining HSBC, he was responsible for the design and management of application fraud strategy for Retail products at Lloyds Banking Group.
