Hitachi Capital UK acquires franchise services firm

Hitachi Capital UK has confirmed it has acquired Franchise Finance, a specialist financial services provider to the franchising industry.

Franchise Finance Ltd offers education and training services to SMEs through its Business Training Academy. It operates UK-wide with more than 140 franchisors and their franchisees across the hotel, leisure, business services, personal services and transport sectors.

 

Robert Gordon, chief executive of Hitachi Capital UK, said: “This acquisition enables us to grow and diversify our business further, reaching new customers within a franchise market that is consistently providing growth opportunities."
