The submission says these flexible benefit schemes - which include bootcamps, gyms, massages, food boxes, houseplants, childcare, cleaning and counselling - provides its staff with a wide range of choices on what they value most.

As part of its work, the company offers a non-hierarchical structure allowing employees to take control of their own development, has mental health first aiders, flexible holiday allowance and a range of mentoring support options. It also provides an annual whole company “team building holiday”, provides project, team and local socials, as well as hosts a fortnightly virtual town hall.

Responding to its support packages, members of staff said 4most encouraged an open and honest discussion that allowed employees to share their experiences, resources and informative items to support all its staff and their families.

One member of staff said, after joining the firm in early 2021, they were immediately made to feel part of the team and were greeted by a culture of support and care, despite having not met any of their colleagues in person.

The judges said 4most showed it had provided its staff with a supportive culture, and had enhanced its staff support and mentorship programme. They also said it was good to see the business investing in its staff through schemes such as match funding for qualifications and mentorship programmes.
