James Jones is Experian’s Head of Consumer Affairs and leads the company’s public education programme, guiding people on a range of subjects including credit reporting, credit scoring and identity fraud. James appears regularly on TV and radio and is frequently quoted in print and online media. He also represents Experian on several cross-industry forums, is a director of the Money Advice Liaison Group, and a trustee of a Nottingham children’s charity. James began his career at Experian in the late 1980s while a student and then joined the company on a permanent basis in 1992 after graduating from Cambridge. He enjoys running, travel and real ale, and is a regular spectator at the City Ground and Trent Bridge.
