With 10 prestigious awards presented, the ceremony recognised exceptional leadership across the industry, from car finance to mortgage lending and utilities. Among the winners was Darren Selig from JBR Capital, who took home Business Leader of the Year – Car Finance, recognising his outstanding strategic vision and impact on the sector.
Meanwhile, Michael Roberts from HSBC was awarded Outstanding Leader in Risk, highlighting his dedication to driving robust risk management practices and supporting his teams through an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
Attendees were also treated to inspiring keynote speeches from Gary Herbert, Olympic gold medallist cox and leadership coach, and Sarah Furness, former RAF combat helicopter pilot turned high-performance coach, who shared powerful lessons on resilience, focus, and leading under pressure.
Judged by a panel of industry experts including Santander’s James Tebboth and Shawbrook’s Hugh Fitzpatrick, the awards once again reinforced the importance of recognising leadership excellence at all levels.
