Credit Strategy, Shard Financial MediaRecognising the trailblazers shaping the future of Financial Services
Credit Strategy is excited to announce the Credit Awards 2026 are now open. Returning on 24 June to Celtic Manor Resort, the awards form the glamourous highlight of Credit Week in its third year.
The Credit Awards remains the pinnacle achievement of credit and financial services excellence and a stage for the very best in the industry to showcase the innovations transforming the marketplace, setting the benchmark for great credit provision.
As regulation tightens, customer expectations shift, and trust becomes harder to earn, positioning your business as a leader matters. Being shortlisted or winning a Credit Award doesn’t just boost your profile; it distinguishes your organisation, emphasises your unique strengths, and gives you genuine competitive edge.
But that’s not all. The rigorous assessment for these awards gives organisations a chance to reflect, benchmark, and celebrate the dedication of teams and individuals, helping to build a positive culture and momentum internally.
Previous year’s judges for the coveted awards have included Simon Green, Credit Officer at Chase Bank UK, Brian Seal, Chief Credit Officer at Atom Bank, and Nick Larkins, Head of Collections Strategy and Third Party Management at HSBC
Alongside more than 30 awards up for grabs at Celtic Manor in 2026, including staples such as Best Use of Technology, Best Company to Work For, and Rising Star of the Year, an exciting new category has been added to the roster: Retail Bank of the Year, open to UK-regulated retail banks, including established institutions and challenger or digital banks.

The award ceremony itself is a spectacle of elegance and entertainment, guided by a host who never fails to thrill. The Credit Awards has a history of memorable comperes, from Matt Lucas, Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan to, most recently in 2025, the dynamic duo of Rory Bremner and Debra Stephenson.
The Awards serves as the cherry-on-top of Credit Week, which will run from 23 to 25 June 2026, again hosted at Celtic Manor. Over these three days, you’ll experience a rich programme of cross-sector conference sessions, thought leadership panels, networking receptions, workshops, and more. All of which are designed to inform, connect, and inspire.
