Brian Baldacchino

Brian is the Head of Corporate Development at Allica Bank, a digitally-native relationship bank dedicated to serving and supporting Britain’s established small and medium businesses that was recently named by the Times Newspaper as one of the UK’s Top 20 fintech companies.

In his role Brian leads on Allica’s inorganic activity including M&A and debt partnerships, and helps drive the Bank’s investor engagement and strategy development – since joining Allica in 2020 this has included the acquisition of a £0.6bn SME loan portfolio, launching multiple forward flow partnerships and raising over £150m of capital.

Before joining Allica, Brian spent five years in strategy consulting at Monitor Deloitte supporting the leadership of incumbent and challenger banks in the UK with a particular focus on commercial and retail banking sectors.
