The Car Finance Autumn Conference, sponsored by Alfa and Alphera Financial Services, has announced its full agenda for this year.
Senior Journalist, covering the Credit Strategy and Turnaround, Restructuring & Insolvency News brands.
Taking place live and in-person at The Point in Manchester on 5 October, it will be the second time the event will take place in 2021, after a successful digital edition in March.
Dedicated to lenders, brokers and retailers in UK point of sale motor finance, the agenda will focus on the shift away from petrol and diesel vehicles, following the government announcement it would end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in 2030, with two sessions: Net zero: The 2030 target for phasing out petrol and diesel and Financing electric vehicles: What are the drawbacks?
The agenda will also examine whether the car finance industry is shifting towards personal contract hire. Billing Finance’s head of compliance Caroline Ireland and Evolution Funding’s chief executive Lee Streets, meanwhile, will be looking at how to re-evaluate the standards of customer service in the Consumer Duty: Customer satisfaction with the finance process post-sale session.
Europe’s premier car finance event will also play host to a motor finance regulatory update from the Finance and Leasing Association’s director of motor finance and strategy Adrian Dally, and a discussion on how to “stay ahead” as car finance goes digital.
Taking place at the same venue, the evening of the conference, will be the Car Finance Awards, sponsored by Alphera Financial Services and Specialist Motor Finance.
