In light of the government’s emergency measures in response to the Covid-19 outbreak and the increase in postponements of large events across multiple sectors, Credit Strategy has decided to postpone the Credit Awards, sponsored by Experian, until September.
Editor at Credit Strategy. Previously held roles at Accountancy Age, Accountancy Daily and the Leicester Mercury.
The new date for the Credit Awards will be September 7, held, as before, at the Grosvenor House hotel in London. All bookings and sponsorships will be transferred to the new date.
The 21st Credit Awards is set to be the biggest yet, with a record number of entries across 31 categories and incredible support from the profession.
Comedian Sean Lock is remaining as host of the rescheduled awards. The award-winning comedian has been a familiar face on stage and television screens for more than 15 years. A team captain on Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats, Lock has also been a host of Live at the Apollo and a frequent panellist on QI and Have I Got News For You.
Credit Strategy’s decision was made in the context of monitoring guidance from the government, announcements from the Prime Minister and medical experts yesterday, along with the rapid increase in postponements of large events across multiple sectors.
It comes after Credit Strategy made the decision to postpone all events during Credit Week in light of the government’s emergency measures.
Credit Strategy’s number one priority is the safety of all delegates, sponsors and our own staff.
