Nearly half of chief executives and other executive board members of Britain’s biggest companies believe it’s likely artificial intelligence (AI) will replace call centre roles in the next five years.

This was one result from a survey carried out by IPSOS MORI in partnership with Credit Strategy, in which firms revealed their insight and forecasts on business activity.
The Captains of Industry Survey helped to coax out candid views on what roles they think AI will replace.
