Shortlisting & judging process

Who are the judges, and how are they selected?

The judges are senior industry professionals who are part of the influential Credit 500 Club, as well as those with a Credit Strategy Premium Membership package.

You can view the full judging panelon our website under the designated section. Being selected as a judge is considered a prestigious benefit and recognition of expertise in the industry.

How is the judging process conducted?

The judging process takes place in two stages:

  1. Stage One – Online Review:
Judges are each assigned specific categories to assess. Over a four-week period, they review the entries, score them out of 100 against the set criteria, and provide written comments to explain their decisions.

  1. Stage Two – Judging Day:
Judges come together in person for a full day of deliberation. During this session, they discuss the shortlisted entries in detail and collectively determine the winners in each category.

Credit Strategy remains impartial and does not participate in the scoring process. They also ensure no conflicts of interest when assigning categories to judges. Additionally, all judges are bound by strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

When will the shortlist be announced?

The shortlist will be officially announced at the end of May 2026; however, you will be notified under embargo regarding the status of your entry at the end of March 2026.

When and where will the awards winners be announced?

All winners will be announced at the Credit Awards ceremony taking place during Credit Week (23-25 June 2026) at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales.

Can I get feedback on my entry?

Due to the high number of entries, we do not offer feedback on entries either before or after the event. However, Credit Strategy Premium Members have the opportunity to receive feedback on entries submitted before the early entry deadline. This allows them to make edits and maximise their chances of success.
