The CRO Leaders' Network is an invitation-only forum bringing together Chief Risk Officers and senior risk leaders from across the UK credit and financial services sector. The Leaders' Network exists to create a trusted space for strategic, CRO-level collaboration, enabling peers to share insight, benchmark approaches, and collectively address shared challenges.

The pace of change across the financial services risk landscape is accelerating. Chief Risk Officers are simultaneously managing regulatory reform, technology transformation, evolving fraud threats and increasing expectations from boards to support growth and innovation.

For many CRO's, this environment is placing new demands on both the risk function and the wider organisational risk culture. Traditional approaches to risk management are being challenged by the need to anticipate emerging threats, embed forward-looking thinking across the business, and ensure risk frameworks keep pace with strategic change.

This roundtable will explore how Chief Risk Officers are strengthening risk culture and evolving the role of the risk function in response to the growing pace of change across financial services.

In particular, the discussion will focus on:

• Managing an expanding risk landscape, where threats are becoming more complex and interconnected
• Embedding forward-looking risk thinking across the organisation, extending beyond the risk function into the first line of defence

• Ensuring the risk function has the appropriate scale, capabilities and technological expertise to meet emerging challenges
• The session will provide an opportunity for CROs to share perspectives on developing stronger risk cultures, evolving risk leadership, and embedding proactive risk management across their organisations.
