Women in Credit awards 2019, part of Credit Week
21 MARCH 2019 | 7.15 PM - 1 AM | THE GRANGE, ST. PAUL'S, LONDON

Women in Credit is more than an awards programme

The Women in Credit Awards is the platform for successful women. Now in its second year, the awards continue to unearth and recognise the inspirational stars across the entire credit and financial services industry.

Credit Strategy launched the Women in Credit brand last year to empower, connect, support and uncover achievements among women in the profession.

Gender issues are a hot topic and it’s time the spotlight is cast on this important issue within our industry. From board representation, diversity policies, gender pay, returning to work, as well as differences in leadership styles, we believe there is a place for a platform to highlight and discuss these matters.

Maria Harros, Atom Bank, Women in Credit awards judge
"I wanted to give my time to recognise the women who’ve led their teams or businesses while redefining the gender balance of our industry. There are so many inspiring examples of driving change or shaping culture and for me, it’s important that we shine a light on these to attract and retain our very talented people. Being nominated for an award can be an affirming and life-changing experience for the nominee but it also provides the rest of us with role models and real-life stars to aspire to. Being a judge is an honour and I’m looking forward to hearing and sharing the stories of all our nominees."
