The shortlists have today been revealed for the F5: Future of Finance Awards and the Commercial Finance Awards. Both events will take place at the Hilton Bankside in London on October 31.
The award ceremonies will now take place at the same time, at the same venue, due to synergies across the different companies that have entered both awards programmes. A number of firms have also entered both schemes.
Many businesses attending both awards presentations operate in the two spaces the events cover, and as a result, the Credit Strategy team combined the two ceremonies in one night.
The F5 scheme returns for its second year in 2017 sponsored by Curo Transatlantic, after a well-received launch last year where alternative lenders, fintech businesses and financial innovators celebrated success in their respective endeavours.
The Commercial Finance Awards makes its debut in 2017, attracting a similar crowd of firms including peer-to-peer lender lenders, credit information providers and technology suppliers. They will be attending along with well-established names from the leasing, asset finance and commercial lending space.
Categories for each scheme will be presented separately with the Commercial Finance Awards presented first, followed by the F5 Awards.
The ceremony will raise money for The Children’s Trust, a charity that runs a range of specialist care, education and therapy services for children and young people from across the UK, including the UK’s largest rehabilitation centre for children with brain injuries.
You can see the full shortlists on the events pages for the Commercial Finance and F5 Awards.
The conferences
During the day before the awards, Credit Strategy will host the F5: Future of Finance Conference, sponsored by Curo Transatlantic, and the inaugural Commercial Finance Conference. Both also take place at Hilton Bankside in London on October 31.
The Commercial Finance Conference will feature four overarching themes, covering the full life-cycle for commercial finance organisations from front end, decisioning and customer interaction right through to back office functions.
The F5 Conference will focus on lending compliance, operations, fintech and funding, bringing together alternative lenders, regulatory leaders and investment experts to gauge challenges and opportunities.
A range of companies and organisations will be supporting the events including, NACFB, Simon Kucher & Partners, CCTA, BCCA and the CSA.
You can find out more about sponsorship and tickets on the Commercial Finance Awards and Conference pages, as well as the F5 Conference and Awards pages.
