Lee Rowley MP will be one of the main speakers at the reception at the Houses of Parliament on March 13, the first event that kicks off Credit Week.

Rowley will be one of many other influential MPs revealing parliament’s priorities for consumer credit at the reception. They will be joined by lenders, regulators, debt purchasers, debt collection agencies, credit scoring experts and trade associations at the Pavilion Terrace by the Thames.

Other MPs including members of the APPG on Alternative Lending and the APPG on Insurance & Financial Services will be taking the opportunity to learn and understand the issues relating to financial inclusion, while stakeholders will have a crucial chance to raise their thoughts with those driving policy.

The reception will be opened by Sir Vince Cable, leader of the Liberal Democrats, who will also be speaking at the Credit Summit alongside shadow chancellor John McDonnell.

Other speakers at the reception include, Conservative MP and APPG on Insurance & Financial Services chairman Craig Tracey, Philip King, chief executive of CICM, and Capita Lending Services managing director Marcella Rich.

Alongside speakers and the opportunity to network, the results of a research project produced by Experian in association with Credit Strategy into the financial condition of UK consumers will be announced.

A new private networking tool will also be available to use, where you can see who is attending the event and set up 1-2-1 meetings. The tool can be found online here.

The Credit Summit is part of Credit Week, sponsored by Capita and supported by CICM, the website can be found here. Sponsorship and ticket details can be found here, or call 020 7940 4812.
