Credit Strategy members can now listen on demand to our webinar with Equifax, Responsible lending in a lockdown, which explored the tools for lenders to assess affordability among new and existing borrowers, amid the economic impact of Covid-19.

With a panel from Equifax and AccountScore, the discussion explored and defined the ways in which creditworthiness can be explored when it’s in flux, and when millions of consumers are experiencing sudden income shocks.

Equifax also detailed new FCA expectations for lenders, how credit reference agencies are responding to support the industry and protect credit scores, and how Open Banking and CATO data can help lenders make decisions in real time, using the most up-to-date data. The discussion also touched on the vulnerability indicators available to lenders.
