10:30 - 11:30

Flexible, personalised collections post Covid – how to adapt in 2021

On 19 January 2021, Credit Strategy, in partnership with illion Digital Tech Solutions, will host a webinar unravelling the real impact of continuing lockdowns on consumers’ finances, the corresponding effects on collections operations, and the tools they need to remain responsive and meet customer expectations.

The webinar will also explore data and insights from across the UK, Australian and New Zealand economies, to examine what may lie ahead as well as successful case studies for practical ideas.

Here are the three main themes that will be explored on 19 January:

THEME 1: "Best practice in collections"
• Proactive engagement with self-service channels and frictionless journeys to allow customers who can and wish to pay now, to do so
• Flexible options and simple arrangements, via digital journeys, for those who can’t pay now
• Digitally-enabled support for vulnerable customers, and two-way messaging conversations with advisors rather than driving inbound calls

THEME 2: "Giving control back to customers"
• How a completely digital frictionless collections solution can put the consumer in charge of when and how they pay their debts
• Demonstration of illion ‘Fit to Pay’

THEME 3: "The big picture"
• Exploring the real-time economic impact from continuing lockdowns, and longer-term effects of the first lockdown:
• The impact of an extended furlough scheme
• Consumer behaviour during covid including interaction via digital & self-service channels
• What can we learn from international markets and what may lie ahead for collections in the UK.

The speakers will be:

Grant de Leeuw, Commercial Director, Illion
Marcel Le Gouais, Managing Editor, Credit Strategy
