The finalists for the 2016 Utilities & Telecoms Awards have been announced, following a shortlisting process across the scheme’s eight categories.
Once the scheme’s panel of 10 judges have completed their assessments of the shortlist, the winners will be awarded their trophies at St John’s Hotel, Solihull, on 29 September.
The addition of two new categories, Best Joint Customer Service Initiative of the Year aswell as Best Outsourcing Initiative of the Year reflect how the sector is working with suppliers to produce better outcomes for customers in this increasingly competitive and changing marketplace.
The evening will be sponsored by Court Enforcement Services, Lowell Group, Marston Group and Orbit Collections Group and will feature a giant interactive game of “heads or tails” to raise funds in support of Credit Strategy’s chosen charity.
During the day leading up to the dinner, the venue will be host to the Utilities & Telecoms Conference, where delegates will be able to meet with major creditors in the space, interact with regulators to learn about incoming changes, and get practical advice on how to conduct their collections operations.
As well as the regular conference programming, the day will see the identities of Credit Strategy’s Utilities & Telecoms Top 50 revealed, following a nomination and review process that is already ongoing.
Those looking to get involved in making the Utilities & Telecoms Top 50 a true reflection of excellence in the sector should consider entering their colleagues into the scheme, or even putting themselves forward for consideration.
