Athene Publishing has undergone a full company rebrand, following its acquisition by Shard Media Group (SMG) earlier this year.
The rebrand accompanies the launch of the new SMG website and two launch parties – for the Credit Strategy & TRI brands, and for the Payroll World brand – later this month.
The rebranding includes the relaunching of flagship title Credit Strategy this month, with a refocus on thematic, agenda-setting content.
Online, Credit Strategy is also undergoing significant change. SMG has made a major investment in its digital infrastructure, and will be launching a new digital media offering before the end of the year.
A renewed focus on product development has already seen the launch of the highly acclaimed Car Finance Conference and Awards in June, and will continue with the launch of the F5 Conference– aimed at the alternative lending and FinTech sectors – in December.
Additionally, the company’s existing awards schemes have undergone redevelopment. This year saw us launch the Credit Awards, as well as the relaunch of 10-year-old I&R Awards as the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards, to be held next month.
Luke Broadhurst, managing director of SMG commented: “It’s been a whirlwind seven months since we completed the management buy-in of Athene Publishing. In that time, our team have performed superbly and I have lost count of their achievements. It is a genuine pleasure to work with such talented people as we now complete the rebrand to Shard Media Group. The new brand and positioning will be the perfect accelerant as we look forward to the next exciting phase of growth.”
