Held immediately after the Car Finance Conference, the awards celebrated a range of companies, from manufacturers to lenders and dealers. The night highlighted achievement in an industry which is rarely recognised for its contribution to the UK economy.

Big winners on the night included Peak Collections, which took home the Best Use of Technology and the Innovation Award – Tier 2, while MotoNovo Finance took and Best Company to Work for in Car Finance.

The Car Finance Awards also celebrates individual achievement as well, with Alphabet head of compliance Leanne Christmas taking the Judges’ Award for Rising Star, which was presented by last year’s winner Laura Baker of DSG Financial Services.

The Judges’ Award for Car Finance Personality of the Year went to DSG Financial Services managing director Richard Hoggart, while the Judges’ Award for Business Leader of the Year was given to MotoNovo Finance divisional chief executive Karl Werner.

On the night, guests raised more than £8,000 for children’s charity, the NSPCC.

Guests were also entertained by former Formula One driver and Top Gear host Tiff Needell, who also presented the awards.

Credit Strategy would like to thank all the awards sponsors – Equiniti, MoneyBarn and Marsh Finance.
