Law firm appointed as debt collector for barristers

The Bar Council, a professional body that represents barristers in England and Wales, has appointed law firm Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV) as an affinity partner.

This means The Bar Council will market the firm’s debt recovery services to its entire membership.

 

Paul Mosson, director of services from The Bar Council, said: “Our members need assurance that when we appoint an affinity partner, we are rigorous and commercial in our assessment.”

 

The VWV litigation and recoveries team, of 26 lawyers, work in offices across London, Watford, Bristol and Birmingham.

The Bar Council offers online advice and guidance for all types of barristers.

 

It aims to influence the development of public policy and legislation that affects the provision of specialist advocacy and advisory service.
