Returning to the QEll Centre on March 15 2018, the event will mark its 10-year anniversary – as well as a decade since the financial crisis.

The Credit Summit, also sponsored by Manolete Partners and 1st Credit, is attended by a range of delegates including those in c-suite roles and executives from banks, alternative lenders and utilities providers, as well as policy makers from regulators and parliamentary groups.

The Summit, which is part of Credit Week supported by the Charted Institute of Credit Management (CICM), consists of seven conferences held on one day:

  • Alternative lending
  • Collections & Customer Service
  • Conduct Risk & Compliance
  • Credit Risk
  • The Future of Distribution
  • Trade Credit, hosted by CICM
  • Utilities & Telecoms

Before the individual conferences kick off, a plenary session will take place including a financial regulatory update.

This will be followed by an industry expert exploring the developments within fintech backed lending and what blockchain, RegTech, AI and big data holds for the future.

The final morning plenary session, before conferences begin, will see broadcaster Evan Davis take to the stage, for the third year running, to give his economic overview for credit and collections.

A plenary session will also be held later in the day, when all conferences have ended, to round up on the day’s events and discuss credit risk insights with industry professionals.

Some speakers on the day include Graham Rymer, head of collections operations at Santander UK, Chris DeBoer, chief executive of Lending Stream, and Cyrille Salle de Chou, chief risk officer for retail and wealth management Europe at ‎HSBC.

You can find the full breakdown of the conferences here.

Ahead of the event, delegates will be able to pick and choose the conferences and sessions they wish to attend by building their own bespoke agenda from our new website.

The website also explains the series of events happening during Credit Week and provides examples of executives from the established banks, challenger banks, utility firms and regulators, who were in attendance at Credit Week 2017.

Tickets for the Credit Summit and for Credit Week are now on sale and can be purchased.
