In particular, Credit Strategy is highlighting individuals and teams who were successful in categories that recognised excellence in operational risk, credit risk and fraud - functions that may receive less recognition in some organisations.

Here, we’re showcasing interviews with winners in 2019 as they came off stage.

Penelope Clarke, head of credit risk at Vodafone UK and Victoria Stubbs, chief risk officer at Cambridge Building Society, discuss the impact on them personally and the recognition of their risk teams at their companies.

If you would like to put forward a colleague in credit risk, or know a risk professional who has gone above and beyond over the last 12 months, don’t hesitate to submit an entry before the final entry deadline of February 21, for the Outstanding Achievement in Risk category.

Similarly, Credit Strategy is encouraging entries for the Credit Card Provider and Responsible Lender categories. Both categories reward teams performing much of the unseen but vital operational work, that ensures exceptional service and journeys for customers.

Entries usually cost £200 but are free of charge until Friday, February 14, 2020.

The final entry deadline is Friday February 21, 2020.
