Aberdein Considine has grown its banking litigation team by making two senior appointments.
Natalie Mortimer has left Virgin Money to join as head of compliance and Thomas Lillie has been appointed to head of legal. Both will be working in the legal firm’s lender services practice group.
Mortimer has moved to Aberdein Considine after working as head of risk, compliance and quality at Virgin Money. She has more than 15 years’ experience in a range of risk related roles.
Lillie, who is already a partner at the firm, has more than 14 years’ experience within the legal sector, specialising in commercial and financial services litigation.
Aberdeen Considine’s lender services practice group represents the majority of UK banks and financial institutions, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Nationwide Building Society and Lloyds Banking Group.
