The conference will be held on March 14 2018 at the Conrad London St. James, as part of Credit Week – Europe’s largest gathering of credit and financial services professionals.
The conference will act as a forum for issues around European NPL management and deleveraging to be discussed. The event also aims to help identify deleveraging opportunities in Europe and explore successful portfolio management solutions.
Plenary sessions during the day will gauge the current NPL landscape in Europe as well as what impending regulation is looming.
The appetite for debt purchase will be explored by a number of funders explaining which markets are of interest to them, how pricing is different in certain countries and their guide on how to vet suitable purchasers.
Panel sessions will also take place to provide insight on how to successfully deleverage NPLs and debate what collections strategies are most successful.
There will also be individual sessions held during the day, concentrating on the harmonisation of cross-border servicing laws as well analysis of individual markets, such as Italy and Greece.
Speakers on the day include Platon Monokroussos, group chief economist at Eurobank Ergasias, Fulvio Pelargonio, senior fund manager at Quaestio Capital Management, as well as partners and heads of debt from a range of banks and private equity firms.
During Credit Week which is sponsored by Capita, a parliamentary reception, the Credit Summit sponsored by Grant Thornton, VIP dinners, and networking events, will take place.
A new website explains the series of events and provides examples of executives from the established banks, challenger banks, utility firms and regulators, who were in attendance at Credit Week 2017.
Tickets for the Credit Summit and for Credit Week are now on sale and can be purchased here.
