Cash Converters will provide H&T’s personal loan product in its 150 stores and online.

Martin Hawthorne, managing director of Cash Converters, said: “We are delighted to have signed this agreement with H&T and are looking forward to a close working relationship that will enable our customer to access a market leading personal loan product.”

Steve Fenerty, finance director at H&T, said: “Cash Converters has a significant high street presence and this partnership affords H&T greater access to a segment of the market which is increasingly looking for personal loan products from a lender they can trust.”

H&T reported a significant growth in its personal loan book for the first half of 2016 with an increase of 85 percent to £6.3m, compared to £3.4m for the same period last year.
