The CICM to host it's Annual Trade Credit Conference in Credit Week

Credit Strategy is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), acting as an event supporter for Credit Week 2018 (12-16 March).

Following its highly successful launch in March 2017, Credit Week will once again bring European credit and financial services professionals to Westminster for a week of conferences, meetings and networking events. At the heart of Credit Week is the Credit Summit – the UK’s biggest credit conference – celebrating its 10th year.

Within this year’s Credit Summit, the CICM will host a Trade Credit Conference. The conference includes discussions examining the credit management lifecycle, perspectives on building an effective credit management team and regulatory updates. The conference will be chaired by Philip King, Chief Executive of the CICM.

Luke Broadhurst, Managing Director of Credit Strategy, commented:

“I am delighted that Credit Strategy is continuing its partnership with the CICM for Credit Week. As the largest recognised professional body in the world for the credit management community, we endorse its mission to set the highest standards and best industry practices for credit management professionals. The Trade Credit stream at Credit Week 2017 provided excellent content and engaging debate for attendees, and played a key part in the success of Credit Week. The greater involvement of the CICM will further enhance the 2018 Summit.”

Philip King, Chief Executive of the CICM, stated:

“I am thrilled the CICM will be working again with Credit Strategy. Their knowledge of the market makes Credit Week a focal point for credit professionals. Through its facilitation of events, including the Credit Summit and its Parliamentary Reception, Credit Week offers a valuable opportunity to discuss the biggest challenges in credit with industry leaders, trade associations, regulators and government officials. Incorporating a CICM Trade Credit Conference in the Summit will be invaluable to CICM members working in that sector, while those working in consumer credit and other sectors will be able to attend relevant streams in which the CICM is also actively engaged”.

The CICM Trade Credit Conference, part of the Credit Summit, will take place at the QEII Centre in Westminster on 15 March 2018. You can see our agenda and speakers here.
