The summit brings together three conferences that centre on alternative finance, commercial finance and mortgage lending. It’s the only event that connects the consumer, residential and business lending industries across the UK.

Focussed on exploring synergies and differences in their lending processes, product designs and strategies, the Lending Summit has been created for senior professionals working across the spectrum of consumer and commercial lending.

Delivering business-critical intelligence and market insight, competitor benchmarking and high-level peer networking, The Lending Summit will explore and delineate the new lending eco-system and innovations in product origination, credit risk assessment, contact strategies, fintech and AI.

This is the UK’s only event that connects three conferences for lenders that together, covering the entire credit cycle:

Delegates will hear from high profile panellists, and gain insight from rigorous on-stage interviews with pioneering lenders. Attendees will also glean the latest figures and market trends to benchmark themselves against competitors.

The summit begins with a morning of keynote sessions including talks on the current state of the market for each conference. Delegates will also benefit from an array of in-depth talks and panel sessions including alternative finance sessions on combating fraud and the impact of Open Banking and PSD2.

Other sessions include fintech and the next frontiers, recognising vulnerability at the point of lending, alternative data and changing customer demographics and compliance for the SME market.

All three conferences will answer the big questions facing the industry such as, what effect will an uncertain macro-economic and political landscape have on the outlook for lending and credit risk? And what does the change in how we collect customer data mean for you?

Previous speakers on the agenda across the three conferences included Chris Pearson, head of intermediary mortgages, HSBC; Andy Taylor, head of sales, Hitachi Capital and Gilad Amir, head of fintech discovery, Lloyds Banking Group.

This year the conferences take place at the Hilton London Bankside on November 6.
