The summit, brings together three conferences that centre on alternative finance, commercial finance and mortgage lending.

In a fast-changing industry where innovation and disruption have become the “new norms”, Credit Strategy’s Lending Summit is the UK’s first 360-degree forum for senior professionals and advisors in the consumer, commercial and corporate lending spaces.

Delivering perspectives on the core issues, challenges and synergies crucial to three central components of the UK lending landscape, this one-day summit brings together lenders with a combined 2017 loan-book value of more than £365bn.

The lending summit is an in-depth look into “the business of lending” for three of the financial services biggest markets.

The conferences will explore the new lending eco-system and innovations in product origination, credit risk assessment, contact strategies, fintech and AI. Delegates will hear from high profile panellists, and gain insight from rigorous on-stage interviews with pioneering lenders and distributors.

The summit kicks off with a morning of sessions including a keynote session on fintech, an expert panel discussion on alternative finance awareness and a talk on fintech and the next frontiers. Key sessions include fintech and lending: a market view, rethinking origination models: brokers and online and a session on risk, rates, products and profit margins in the mortgage market.

Notable speakers for this year include:

  • Peter Dockar, head of lending products, CYBG
  • Paul Broadhead, head of mortgage policy, The BSA
  • Phil Rickards, chairman, IMLA and head of BM solutions
  • James Meekings, co-founder & managing director, Funding Circle
  • Paul Goodman, chairman, NACFB
