This year’s event, for which Lowell were headline sponsors, featured unforgettable entertainment from host and comedian Katherine Ryan.

In its 19th year, the awards received a number of entries across categories representing the length and breadth of the industry.

The night’s big winners included ScotCash, which picked up two awards, along with Oracle Finance, Black Horse, AXA Insurance, Three, Lloyds Banking Group and E.ON Energy.

Calum Fuller, editor of Credit Strategy, said: “The Credit Awards was a fantastic evening celebrating the very best of the credit profession. It was wonderful to see so many turn out to see their peers recognised and acknowledge high achievement from across the credit space.”

This year several new categories were introduced, such as Best Company to Work For, Credit Modelling and Risk Team of the Year, Utilities Team of the Year, Telecoms Team of the Year and Debt Advice Provider of the Year.

The new categories also included a Special Award for Outstanding Chief Risk Officer, sponsored by Telrock, which went to Mark Thundercliffe, CYBG, for his exceptional business transformation and leadership skills.
