Credit Week, run by Credit Strategy, is Europe’s largest gathering of credit and financial services professionals during the course of a week, featuring conferences, VIP dinners, a parliamentary reception and networking events hosted by the industry itself.
A new website explains the series of events and provides examples of executives from the established banks, challenger banks, utility firms and regulators, who were in attendance at Credit Week 2017.
The week, beginning March 12 2018, will incorporate five main events held around the area of Westminster, London:
Parliamentary reception: Held in the corridors of power, the reception offers guests access to government and regulatory power brokers. Attendees will have the chance to understand the government’s agenda in consumer and commercial credit, and discuss challenges with those setting the regulatory tone.
This is an invite-only event but you can register you interest to attend here.
CDSP: European NPL: This conference brings together buyers and sellers of NPLs from across the continent, exploring the deleveraging opportunities in many of Europe’s key NPL markets. The conference also offers best practice insight on methods to maximise portfolio management and servicing of NPLs.
C-Suite Dinners: A range of dinners hosted for CROs, CFOs and CEOs from across the UK and Europe, allowing the opportunity to share strategies, benchmark current practices’ and gain ideas from international organisations.
Credit Summit: A content filled day for professionals across the whole of the credit industry. The day boasts seven individual conferences with a series of celebrity, regulatory and economic experts speaking. Evan Davis will be returning to give his political forecast for the third year running.
From here on out a conference stream of the Summit will be revealed each week.
Credit 500 Gala: An evening of celebrations to end the week as well as to reveal the Credit 500 2018; the index of the most influential members of the credit and financial services industries.
The Gala provides a night of networking and entertainment in the company of the most influential and prominent business leaders across consumer and commercial credit.

Credit Week has already attracted a number of returning MPs, following the successful events last year including the Parliamentary reception which kicked off Credit Awareness Week. This campaign was run in association with Experian and was backed by Yvonne Fovargue MP. The campaign aims to close the knowledge gap among consumers about credit scores and credit refusals.
As well as the finding the event for you on our new website, readers have the option to start buying delegate passes to attend Credit Week.
