The Summit, taking place on March 15 at the QEII Centre in London, is part of Credit Week sponsored by Capita, a series of conferences, meetings, and industry networking.

David Poole, chief risk officer of Brighthouse, and Cyrille Salle de Chou, chief risk officer of HSBC Retail and Wealth Management, will be speaking alongside a panel of experts on credit risk insights and strategies.

Poole will also speak as part of a standalone session on credit risk where he will discuss how to get credit assessments right for the sub-prime market.

Paul Gill, chief risk officer of Loans at Home, will speak alongside Joanna Elson, chief executive of the Money Advice Trust, and directors from Account Score and Grant Thornton, on regulation around affordability, credit worthiness issues and experiences of poor practice in the industry.

Later during the day, culture and customer insights for collections will be discussed by a range of industry experts.

Nina White, head of collections and recoveries at TSB, and Denise Crossley, chief executive of Lantern, will speak on a panel with Chris Fitch, vulnerability lead at the Money Advice Trust, and Stuart Sykes, group customer operation director at MyJar.

This panel will discuss the achievability of sustainable engagement, longer collections periods and solid relationships and the strategies that can prompt the customer to interact at their convenience.
