On Thursday March 19, 2020, the 12th Credit Summit will once again act as the Credit Week’s flagship event, with nine distinct conferences covering the full depth and breadth of the credit profession.

With more than 50 individual sessions, this year’s Credit Summit has something for every function and every role within the credit industry.

These include three new conferences within the Credit Summit: Cards & Payments, Credit Tech Expo, Leadership & Culture.

Each of these areas have grown in importance and prominence across the credit space over the past year, leading to the creation of these conferences.

They will explore the impact of digital disruption, demographic change and the importance of diversity to your business.

Alternative Lending, sponsored by Lantern, Credit Risk & Collections, Future of Credit, Open Banking, Trade Credit hosted by CICM and Utilities & Telecoms all return to the Credit Summit in 2020.

Throughout the summit, there will be a focus on steering a path through the uncertain times the industry and society at large is operating in. Beginning with turbulence in the economy, our economic, political and regulatory updates set the scene for the approaching years, with our executive panel of CEOs, CROs and CCOs informing the audience of the path their businesses are plotting.

Away from the current econo-political turmoil, we’re seeing more disruption than ever, with threats and opportunity resulting from a broadening digital and technological landscape.

Covered across every stream we discuss how the industry is changing (Rise of the machines: Which technologies are changing banking), improving (Harnessing technology to improve customer experiences) and insulating itself from external threats.

For the first time, we will be holding a Women in Credit Forum at the summit. The Women in Credit Forum represents an exciting expansion of the Women in Credit brand, which has championed recognition of the work women do across the credit sphere through the sold-out Women in Credit Awards for two years.

Once again, Credit Summit attendees will be able to use Brella to communicate and arrange one-to-one meetings with each other in advance of the summit and on the day itself.

More details on each of the conferences will be announced weekly until the end of November, so make sure you are subscribed to the Credit Strategy weekly newsletter.
