The conference will have four overarching themes, covering front end, decisioning and customer interaction right through to back office ops and collections.
Being held at the London Hilton Bankside on October 31, the conference will gather asset and invoice finance lenders, alternative SME finance lenders, commercial banks and brokers, to discuss the most prescient challenges.
The single stream agenda will be fully revealed on July 31, but key issues to be discussed will lie around origination models, structuring deals, underwriting, data sources for SME customers and technology in customer service.
A preview of speakers already confirmed include Olly Betts, chief executive of Bizfitech, Dave Pickering, chief executive of the Lending Standards Board, and Mark Williams, head of business credit risk at RateSetter.
If you would like to get involved in the event there are opportunities to become a speaker (call 020 7940 4835) or sponsor the conference (call 0207 940 4805).
The conference will be held on the same day of the Commercial Finance Awards. The awards scheme will recognise the successes in leasing, asset finance and commercial lending.
Entries for the awards cost £200, but are free up until August 11, the final deadline closes on August 18.
During the same week that the Commercial Finance Conference and Awards takes place, Credit Strategy is also holding another new event for 2017 – the Mortgage Conference, along with the second F5 Conference and Awards (for which entries are open until August 25).
