Smith has more than 30 years of management and operational experience within High Court enforcement. His previous roles include; High Court Enforcement operations director and head of High Court enforcement for two other enforcement companies.
As a former director on the board of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association, Smith was instrumental as a working party member to design, implement and deliver an educational pathway for authorisation, thereby creating a degree-level course in High Court enforcement. This was done in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
Smith joined the enforcement industry in 1984 working as a sheriffs officer for West Midlands County, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Herefordshire and Kent.
A recent version of this story about Alan Smith joining Court Enforcement Services contained some information that relates to Alan J Smith, also an authorised High Court Enforcement Officer, but with High Court Enforcement Group. We apologise for any confusion and wish to make clear Alan J Smith remains with the High Court Enforcement Group.
