The UK’s only event for alternative, commercial and mortgage lenders, is evolving
Launched as the UK’s only event for senior professionals and advisers across the consumer, commercial and mortgage lending spaces, the Lending Summit was innovative in its creation. In 2020, the event will evolve to harness its conception.
A digital broadcast event
In a year in which the pandemic has become a catalyst for innovation, agility and transformation, the Lending Summit will reflect the times in 2020 by becoming a fully digital, broadcast event taking place during Lending Week and a part of the Credit Festival. Find out more here.
Credit Strategy will provide a progressive agenda which will feature digitally-broadcast, fully-interactive sessions. Designed to cross-pollinate insight among the three lending markets, the agenda covers topics such as payment breaks and forbearance, a deteriorating economic outlook, and how to return to growth. With infinite common challenges this year, the Lending Summit will unite perspectives from all three markets, in each session.
Agenda highlights:
- An economist’s presentation
- A CRO panel exploring long and short-term risks
- Impact of government-backed loan schemes/risks of business defaults
- The impact of payment holidays and next steps, across each market
- Short and long-term implications of COVID-19
- Innovation within products and lending, during the pandemic
- Creating sustainable growth post COVID
- The changing nature of working practices
- Is 2020 the year of Open Banking?
