Women in Credit Awards evolves with exciting new focus

This exciting transformation, developed in collaboration with Credit Strategy’s Women in Credit Steering Committee, expands the awards’ horizons to celebrate the full spectrum of diversity lighting up the credit and financial services industries.

Mark your calendars for November 19th at the stunning Hilton London Bankside, where this prestigious event will showcase trailblazers who are redefining excellence across the sector. Winners don’t just take home a trophy - they gain industry-wide recognition and powerful promotional opportunities that can supercharge careers and company profiles!

In an electrifying update, almost all categories now welcome nominees from any of the nine protected characteristics – a game-changing move that truly celebrates inclusivity in all its forms! (Woman of the Year remains a specialised category).

The expanded program features an impressive array of 18 awards, including six spectacular new categories, including: 

• Diversity Network of the Year
• Inclusive Workplace Initiative
• Service Provider of the Year

Last year’s ceremony showcased truly inspirational winners, including The Very Group’s Mark Harrison-North (Mentor of the Year), ESG powerhouse Sue Owen-Bailey from Equifax, and Zuto’s triumphant Employer of the Year award!

Industry legend Cathy Prior from Vanquis claimed the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, while Simply’s dynamic Ylva Oertengren earned Outstanding Contribution honors, and Novuna Consumer Finance’s extraordinary Rula Samara was crowned as our Woman of the Year for the second time!
