Women and Diversity in Credit launches new Mentoring Programme

A new three-month Mentoring Programme has been launched by Credit Strategy’s Women and Diversity in Credit brand.

Exclusively designed for all professionals in the credit and financial services industry, this initiative connects mentees with distinguished industry leaders for a tailored mentoring experience, offering a minimum of three sessions - available virtually or in-person to accommodate individual preferences.

The programme offers dynamic individual mentoring opportunities alongside group sessions and features 17 of the industry’s most brilliant and accomplished leaders. These exceptional mentors bring invaluable experience to help guide, inspire, and empower participants throughout their transformative journey.

Representing the entire credit and financial services spectrum, both in terms of sectors and positions, the stellar mentor lineup includes Atom Bank’s chief operating officer Helen Wilson, Azzuro Associates’ chief risk officer Claire Moore, Nationwide’s head of risk decision and data science Matthew Jones, BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s chief data and analytics officer Louise Connelly, and StepChange chief executive Vikki Brownridge.

Discover the full roster of amazing mentors by clicking the link here.

To provide a structured and efficient mentoring experience, the programme offers three distinct Mentoring Pathways, each designed to address specific development goals:

Career development:

  • Setting your goals and planning how to get there
  • How to build your network
  • How to be a great leader.

Building confidence:

  • Recognising the tools and allies you possess
  • How to be more assertive
  • Presentations and public speaking.

Personal brand:

  • Recognising the strengths and resources you hold
  • Understanding what you are about
  • Presenting the best version of yourself.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity! Interested candidates can register by completing the mentee application form, which provides a chance to explain their motivation for seeking mentorship, outline current career challenges, and select preferred mentors.

Once the registration form is submitted, applications will be carefully reviewed by Credit Strategy’s Mentoring team. Successful applicants will be thoughtfully matched with a mentor based on their goals and needs.

Mentees will then be notified and introduced to their mentor, marking the start of their transformative mentoring journey.
