CREDIT WEEK HAS BEEN POSTPONED

To date, Shard Financial Media has been following Government guidelines regarding the continuation of the events at Credit Week surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus. However, as the news has been progressing we have listened to the concerns, from all parties, around the health and welfare of their staff.

We are very conscious of the need to provide a safe environment for our attendees and had found, until recently, that our audience was reassured by the measures we had put in place to achieve this. However, based on government advice, we have taken the extremely difficult decision to postpone Credit Week events including The Parliamentary Reception, Strategic Mortgage Roundtable and Dinner, Credit Summit, Credit Week Gala Dinner featuring the Credit500 and Women in Credit Awards, and our two webinars. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.

Credit Summit will now take place on 2 December, Women in Credit Awards will take place on 5 October, and all other events will be rescheduled for later in the year. All existing delegate tickets for events throughout Credit Week will be transferred to the postponed dates.
We want to thank everyone for their support and patience during this time. For any enquiries please contact enquiries@shardfinancialmedia.com or refer to the FAQs below.

Q - The event has been postponed; what will happen to my ticket?
A - Good news, your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new event date. You don’t need to do anything.

POSTPONED EVENTS
Q - What are the dates for the postponed Credit Week events?
A - We are working on securing dates for all events throughout Credit Week and will release these as soon as we possibly can. The Credit Summit revised date is confirmed as 2 December 2020 at the QEII. Women in Credit Awards revised date is confirmed as 5 October 2020, also at the QEII.

Q - Will the agenda and exhibitors be the same for the postponed event?
A - We will aim to keep the agenda the same where possible. We will adjust were necessary to reflect the current climate and subject to speakers being available for the new dates. We also hope that the exhibitor list will remain the same.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Q - I booked my hotel through the recommended booking agency, can I transfer my booking or get a refund?
A - Please contact Jack Brook directly on +44 (0) 207 593 3958 for Hilton London Bankside bookings and for Leonardo Royal Hotel bookings please e-mail towerbridgegroups@leonardohotels.co.uk or call +44 (0)161 774 1742.

Q - Can I get a refund on pre-booked train travel?
A - You may be able to get a refund on your tickets. You're more likely to get a full refund if the train you were intending to take is delayed, or your reservation is not available. You may have to pay a cancellation fee if your booked service is running normally. Some advance tickets and special offers may be non-refundable, so check the terms and conditions of the train operating company.

Who will make 2020’s Credit 500?

At the culmination of Credit Week, Credit Strategy reveal 2020’s Credit 500.

It includes professionals in various roles at creditors, debt purchasers, law firms, regulators, trade bodies and other firms that have a central influence on decision-making in the rest of the industry and have made a difference in their related field.

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Credit 500 index.
