Phillips & Cohen appoints digital strategy leader

Phillips & Cohen Associates, a deceased account management specialist, has appointed Bob Bednar as its senior vice president of consumer communication and digital strategy in a bid to strengthen its digital offerings.

The company said it has made the appointment following guidance on consumer contact strategies from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an American governance body.

 

Phillips & Cohen services creditors in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Spain and New Zealand.

 

Bednar joined the company this month and has more than 20 years’ industry experience. His most recent roles include senior director of channel strategies at loan servicer Navient and vice president of marketing company MMI Group.

 

Nick Cherry, chief operating officer, of Phillips & Cohen said: “We are delighted to have Bob join the organization to lead our communication strategy through the next phase of our company’s evolution.

 

“His energy and blend of consumer marketing and credit industry experience make him an ideal addition to our team.”

 

Adam S. Cohen, co-chairman and chief executive of the company, said: “Our entire business is built around providing positive customer outcomes through our compassionate and compliant engagement style.

 

“This has always included investing in our digital and consumer communication strategies to provide compliant solutions but also channel choice to the consumer.
