Young has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and has joined the company from Fiserv, another financial technology solutions specialist, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities throughout EMEA. Prior to this, he served as head of retail banking and insurance at the cloud applications provider Oracle.

Young said: “Joining Intelligent Environments is a tremendously exciting prospect. With the company at the forefront of digital innovation in the financial services sector, leading its future growth and development is an immense opportunity.”

Pieter Hooft, a non-executive director of the company, said: “Intelligent Environments has grown significantly in the last few years and, with our ambition for international expansion, this is the right time to attract a chief executive who can support our next growth phase.”
