Entries have now opened for the awards focussed on the evolution of the alternative lending market.
The awards provide a forum to reward excellence and best practice within the industry by honouring distinguished, new-era businesses that are paving the way in re-designing consumer and business lending. The night will publicly recognise the expertise of technological and regulatory leaders in the industry.
The scheme consists of 17 awards including Alternative Lending Rising Star, Alternative SME Lender of the year and Best Brand.
The judging panel features senior executives from alternative lenders and online banks, directors of fintech firms and a selection of company founders and investors.
Luke Broadhurst, managing director of Shard Financial Media, the company that publishes Credit Strategy, said: “The F5 Awards praise the organisations that represent some of the latest thinking in this agile and innovative sector.”
Last year, 150 professionals attended the celebration including chief executives of lenders and trade associations, directors of marketing, sales, operations as well as collections and recoveries.
The night raised more than £1,500 for the award’s chosen charity, the Children’s Air Ambulance, which flies critically ill children across the UK to get the specialist care they need.
The 2017 awards will be held on the evening of the F5: Future of Finance Conference, which is to be launched next month.
