The M&A Advisor has launched The Corporate M&A Exchange to be held in London on September 21.

The conference will focus on operational excellence in deal-making for corporates and investors and will analyse M&A trends and investment activity in Europe and the wider world.

The event will gather corporate development professionals, heads of strategy, C-level suite roles, PE and VC individuals, institutional investors and those from investment banks.

Throughout the day, professionals will be able to learn best practice in growth strategy and integration, hear examples of attaining value through divestment and gauge thoughts on the relationship between corporates and PE/VC in deal-making.

The agenda will split into two streams following plenary sessions discussing the European M&A landscape, emerging markets and working with the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA).

The streams will be split into:

  • Corporate Strategy: Discussing best practice for corporate deal-makers, including growth integration and divestment;
  • Investment: Examining the challenges and opportunities for equity investors as well as examining technological trends that are challenging M&A principles.

There will be a range of speakers on the day including those from Aberdeen Asset Management, Denham Capital, Draper Esprit and FPE Capital.

Confirmed speakers at the event include Roderic Heeneman, general manager of M&A at Shell, Parul Green, head of M&A and innovation at AXA UK Group, and Joshua Rowe, director of M&A at Callcredit.
